Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year in junior high school. She has two younger siblings and a brother who is older. The first time she was in the industry of entertainment was in the form of modeling at the age of 9 to sixteen. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she began studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for approximately three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors who received such education. After moving into Los Angeles, she got her first part in Beverly Hills, 90210. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a talented actor. She was also represented by Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to get a regular part in the show Friends.
