Sarah Michelle Gellar, the gorgeous actress who gained fame as Buffy Summers on the television series 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer The actress is also a seasoned film actress as well. At the age of four she was noticed by an agent and asked to audition for a character in the TV film 'An Invasion of Privacy.' The film was later made into an unintentional model due to the publicity she received from the media. She continued to pursue her acting career as a child actress, performing in TV shows and landing roles in minor Hollywood movies. She was cast as the main protagonist, Karen Davis in the supernatural horror film, 'The Grudge in 2004. It was a remake the original Japanese film and presented in a non-linear progression of the events. She reprised this role in the sequel, 'The Gudge 2', which came out in 2006. She is best known for her role as Buffy Summers, the teenager who hunts vampires, in the popular television show "Buffy the vampire Slayer". The show ran for seven seasons and the show ran 144 episodes. The series was a critical and commercial success. Gellar became famous due to the show. She is a believer in giving back to society and is actively involved with various charities, such as Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity and CARE. She was married Freddie Prinze Jr., co-star of the film 'I Know What you Did Last Summer', in 2002. The couple has two kids.
